Manage the overall accounting workflow and provide leadership across all accounting functions, including: Accounts payable and invoice processing Billing and accounts receivable Cash receipts Work order processing Credit analysis and collections Month-end close activities Journal entries Payroll administration Financial and statistical reporting Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting processes. Manage the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts. Review financial statements and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with: Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Company policies and procedures Regulatory and statutory requirements Ensure all internal and external financial reporting deadlines are met. Oversee financial internal control processes across all business functions, including: Sales Customer service Operations Human Resources Payroll Maintenance Ensure compliance with: Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements Corporate policies and procedures Federal, state, and local financial regulations Support and coordinate internal audits, external audits, peer reviews, and compliance assessments. Provide financial analytics and recommendations to support sound business decisions. Partner with the Division President and management team to evaluate operational and financial performance. Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes by: Managing timelines and workflow Reviewing assumptions and financial data Providing analytical insights Deliver financial reporting and analysis to support strategic initiatives and business growth. Provide accounting guidance and analytical support to all departments, including: General Management Sales and Marketing Operations Customer Service Maintenance Human Resources Support pricing and profitability analysis for: Customer contracts Commercial bids Municipal bids Market development initiatives Maintain and update division pricing models in accordance with company policies. Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Manage the credit and collections function to maximize cash flow and minimize risk. Ensure compliance with company credit and service policies.

Oversee accounting activities related to:

Capital expenditures Asset transfers Asset retirements Review and approve all asset management subledger transactions. Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff. Manage recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management activities. Establish effective processes and procedures to improve department efficiency and workflow. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Respond to information requests and partner with corporate departments, including: Accounting Tax Treasury Information Technology Human Resources Legal Sales Environmental Compliance Collaborate with regional and field financial management teams as needed. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting or finance experience. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience.

Strong knowledge of:

Knowledge of state and local financial reporting requirements. Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software.
