Job Description
Crown Auto Group Automotive Finance Director / Sales Director Overview Crown Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Finance Director / Sales Director to lead a dealership's Sales and Finance & Insurance (F&I) departments. This leadership position is responsible for increasing vehicle sales, gross profit, F&I performance, customer satisfaction, and overall dealership profitability. The ideal candidate has proven automotive dealership management experience, strong F&I knowledge, excellent sales leadership skills, and a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams. Responsibilities Lead and manage the Sales and F&I departments to achieve monthly and annual sales and profit goals. Develop and implement strategies to increase new and used vehicle sales, gross profit, and F&I income. Monitor key performance indicators including sales volume, PVR, closing ratios, F&I penetration, gross profit, CSI, and customer satisfaction. Recruit, train, coach, and motivate Sales Managers, F&I Managers, and Sales Consultants. Oversee F&I processes, deal structure, lender relationships, funding, and compliance. Ensure consistent use of CRM, lead follow-up, sales processes, and dealership best practices. Assist with customer negotiations and resolve escalated customer concerns. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, lender requirements, and dealership policies. Work closely with the General Manager, ownership, and accounting team to maximize dealership performance and profitability. Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. Qualifications Automotive dealership experience required. Previous experience as a Finance Director, F&I Director, General Sales Manager, Sales Director, or similar automotive management position preferred. Proven track record of achieving sales, gross profit, and F&I performance goals. Strong knowledge of automotive retail sales, F&I, lending, and dealership operations. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to recruit, train, develop, and retain a high-performing team. Experience with CRM and dealership management systems. Strong understanding of automotive compliance and finance processes. High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer-service focus. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
