Financial Controller - Part Time

We're looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to bring both strong accounting execution and strategic financial perspective to our team. At Corporate Coffee Systems, a leader in workplace breakroom solutions, we offer everything from café-style experiences and Micro Markets to traditional breakroom services. With a diverse product portfolio and cutting-edge technology, we bring the coffeehouse experience to businesses across the tri-state area. This role reports directly to the CEO and plays a key part in supporting financial visibility and decision-making across the business.

What You'll Do:

Lead the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Perform and oversee bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger integrity Oversee A/P and A/R processes, including collections and cash flow management Manage sales tax calculations and filings to ensure compliance Monitor expenses and payables, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Support pricing strategy and margin improvement initiatives Generate financial reports and analysis to support executive decision-making Provide insight into purchasing and overall operational performance Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or similar roles Strong understanding of financial statements and close processes Hands-on experience with reconciliations, A/P, A/R, and compliance Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with financial systems Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial operations Comfortable partnering directly with leadership and providing insights

Compensation:

Up to $65/hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

Approximately 24-30 hours per week, with a flexible schedule within standard business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
