As a Prospecting Planner, you'll guide prospective clients through some of life's most meaningful financial decisions, deliver educational seminars and media appearances, and help shape the first impression of our firm with warmth, clarity, and professionalism. This is a high-impact, client-facing role where your work directly drives new relationships and growth for the firm. What You'll Do Lead discovery meetings with retirement-ready clients to understand goals, income needs, and priorities Provide expert guidance on retirement planning, investments, taxes, estate planning, and insurance Develop and deliver initial financial plans alongside Associate Planners Maintain a disciplined prospect pipeline with clear follow-up and documentation Deliver educational seminars, webinars, and media appearances in partnership with Marketing Ensure seamless client transitions to Servicing Planners, and identify opportunities to re-engage existing clients Uphold the firm's high standards of professionalism, empathy, and fiduciary responsibility What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or related field; CFP® strongly preferred 5+ years of client-facing financial planning or wealth management experience, ideally with retirement-ready clients Series 65 or 66 required unless holding CFP®; WA State Insurance License (Health & Life) required Exceptional communication, presentation, and analytical skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/portfolio management systems Why You'll Thrive Here Help families turn their retirement dreams into a clear, confident reality Step into the spotlight with public-facing seminars and media appearances Collaborate with team members who prioritize respect, transparency, and acting in clients' best interests Competitive compensation: base + commission or 100% commission options
