Our Business Office team plays a vital role in supporting residents and families through the financial and Medicaid process with compassion, professionalism, and accuracy. Position Overview We are seeking a qualified Financial Specialist - Medicaid Specialist to support the successful completion of business office and financial operations while ensuring compliance with company guidelines and state and federal regulations. This role focuses heavily on the Medicaid application and approval process , billing functions, collections, and accounts receivable management. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily business office and financial operations Manage and support the Medicaid application process from start to finish Meet with residents and families to gather required application documentation Submit Medicaid applications and maintain ongoing follow-up with agencies and families Monitor approvals and address delays to ensure timely reimbursement Perform billing functions including: Medicaid billing Medicare billing Third-party billing Collections and accounts receivable follow-up Audit resident accounts and monitor account balances Assist with admissions review and financial eligibility processes Maintain reports, records, filing systems, and financial documentation Serve as backup support for payroll, petty cash, resident trust accounts, and reception duties as needed What We're Looking For Healthcare billing and collections experience preferred Strong understanding of Medicaid policies and regulations Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines Professional demeanor with strong teamwork and customer service skills Basic computer and office equipment knowledge required High school diploma or equivalent required Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English Benefits for Our Full-Time Employees Competitive wages Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Holidays Paid Vacation Why Join Us?
