Finishing Operator

Overview Job Summary:

The finishing operator's job is to operate slitting machines, guillotine cutter, short roll machine, sheeter machine, and their related equipment. Also handle the boxing and inspecting functions for finish products and other assignments or duties. Ensure all processes adhere to strict quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Operate equipment and ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance. Handle finished products with care, utilizing warehouse experience and materials handling skills to ensure proper storage and inventory accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the department area. Ability to lift sheets of film occasionally up to 75 lb. Operate power stackers and forklifts. Safely transport materials and finished product in manufactory. Maintaining inventory control. Collaborate with Quality teams to verify product specifications meet company standards. Follow all safety procedures diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency response protocols. Experience Must be able to work independently, without close supervisor. Computer skills with current software experience. Previous experience as Finishing Operator, preferred. Prior experience in manufacturing environments, preferred. Previous experience in the coating film industry, preferred. Requirement High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent

From $16.00 per hour
