Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that all products are properly stored, documented, and prepared for distribution. Your proactive approach will help maintain seamless warehouse operations, support order fulfillment, and uphold safety standards across the facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to an environment where your skills in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, and inventory control will shine. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments using RF scanners and system software to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and documenting orders with precision. Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load and unload trucks, move stock within the warehouse, and organize inventory. Maintain accurate stock levels through proper stocking procedures and update inventory records in software system. Ensure proper packaging of products for shipment to prevent damage during transit while adhering to safety standards. Conduct regular stock counts and assist with cycle counts to support inventory accuracy. Collaborate with management to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes. Forklift experience; is required. Familiarity with inventory control. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Ability to operate RF scanners and other warehouse technology confidently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking, packing, and documentation tasks. Prior experience in warehouse operation is required.
Pay:
From $16.00 per hour
