  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a diverse fleet of gasoline and diesel vehicles, small engines and some industrial machinery. Your expertise will ensure our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting our operations across various industries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills and technical knowledge in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and safety. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on a wide range of vehicles and equipment Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and electrical testing equipment. Diagnose and repair vehicle and equipment issues Fabricate parts or components as needed using power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and hand tools. Conduct alignment procedures and perform tire service to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Maintain detailed service records and complete all necessary documentation for repairs and maintenance activities. Assist with heavy lifting tasks and support equipment assembly or disassembly projects as required. Experience Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and some heavy equipment maintenance. Hands-on experience working with Vehicle mechanical issues. Skilled in reading schematics and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex systems effectively. Knowledge of hydraulic systems, transmissions, air brake systems, HVAC units, suspension components, and diesel engine repair. Proficiency with power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and other fabrication tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and maintenance needs to team members or clients.
