Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Floral Designer to join our team. This role involves crafting beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, maintaining floral displays, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design, horticulture, and gardening, along with strong organizational and communication skills. Multilingual abilities and experience with retail sales or e-commerce platforms are a plus. Duties Design and create floral arrangements for events, holidays, and daily retail displays in accordance with customer preferences and seasonal themes Maintain the freshness and appearance of floral displays through proper care and handling Assist customers with selecting flowers and related products, providing expert advice on floral care and design options Manage stock levels of flowers, supplies, and related merchandise through merchandising and stocking duties Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations Support merchandising efforts by organizing floral displays to attract customers and enhance store aesthetics Perform basic gardening and landscape maintenance tasks as needed to support overall store presentation Handle customer inquiries professionally, ensuring excellent customer service experience at all times Qualifications Proven experience or training in floral design, horticulture, gardening, or landscape maintenance preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent communication skills; multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customers Familiarity with POS systems, retail sales processes, cashiering, and stock management Knowledge of retail math for transactions and inventory control Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Passion for floral artistry combined with a customer-focused attitude Prior experience with e-commerce platforms or online floral sales is a plus Flexibility to work during peak seasonal periods; ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
