FRONT DESK COORDINATOR
Bring your dog to work? That's right! Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, overnight, and spa services has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized, business-minded individual who will be the first point of contact as a Front Desk Coordinator. The Front Desk Coordinator must

The day-to-day responsibilities:
Welcome Dogtopians for drop off and pick up of their dogs. Cultivating an outstanding Dogtopia experience — provide dog parents with professional wisdom and advocate for the most appropriate products and solutions to meet their needs. Maintains a neat and always organized front desk and lobby area, and clean the lobby every shift. Sets the example for the team on the 3 Ss (smile, story and satisfaction) and held accountable to internal and external customer service standards. Answer phones, e-mails, and questions from pet parents. Strive for high customer review ratings! Efficiently and quickly document dog visits, and accurately operate and maintain our front-of-house customer management and billing systems. Escort dogs up to 150 pounds to and from the playrooms. Support the back of house team in any way needed!
Key Qualifications:
Must LOVE dogs Must be at least 18 years of age Weekday shifts will be 1:40
  • 7:30 pm. Must be able to work rotating Saturdays (8:45 am
  • 5:30 pm) and Sunday (11:30 am
  • 2 pm).
Must be able to work up to 50% of spring break and major holiday weeks (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc) Ability to work flexible days and hours, including evenings, weekends & holidays Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun, fast-paced environment Strong customer service skills Ability and comfort level to manage all phone calls, online inquiries, and customer questions Learn software with ease! Experience with Sales Force and Canva is a plus! Highest level of attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively Sales skills are a huge plus! Pay:
$16.90/hr Job type: Part-time 28 to 35 hours
Schedule:
Monday to Saturday Morning shift as needed Evening shift primarily Rotating weekends, including short 2.5-hour Sunday shifts Up to half of spring break and holiday weeks/weekends

What is your availability for these specific shifts? 3) Do you need any time off in the next 90 days? 4) Do you need health insurance? Our policy requires dogs to have 4 specific vaccines and be spayed/neutered after they are age 7 months. A parent emails asking to use our services but the dog only has 2 of the 4 required vaccines (is missing canine influenza and Bordetella) and is not neutered at age 5 months. Please draft a polite response to this parent to explain our policies.
