Front of House Manager Location:
Safety Harbor.
FL Position Overview :
We are seeking an organized, tech-savvy Front of House Manager to lead daily operations in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining operational excellence, and managing front-of-house staff performance in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate is a strong operational leader with experience using Excel, modern POS systems, handheld devices, and kitchen display systems (KDS). They should thrive under pressure, adapt quickly to changing business needs, and demonstrate strong scheduling, staffing, and service management skills. Key Responsibilities Oversee all front-of-house operations during service Lead, coach, and manage FOH staff, including scheduling and floor positioning Maintain high standards of guest service, cleanliness, and organization Manage daily reporting, operational tracking, and shift-level metrics using Excel and restaurant systems Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen operations through POS systems, handheld devices, and KDS platforms Monitor staffing levels and adjust schedules based on business trends, weather, and local events Assist with inventory awareness and operational ordering needs Step into service as needed to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction Qualifications 3+ years of Front of House management experience in an upscale or high-volume restaurant Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required Experience with modern POS systems, handheld ordering devices, and kitchen display systems (KDS) required Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Demonstrated job stability and consistent work history Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and operational discipline Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Preferred Traits Calm and solution-oriented under pressure Tech-comfortable and adaptable to new systems Strong sense of accountability and urgency Team-focused leadership style with a hands-on approach
