Full-Time Cook (Macedonian Cuisine) We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Full-Time Cook to join our busy Macedonian restaurant in Perth, Western Australia. The successful applicant will assist in the preparation and service of traditional Macedonian dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The role requires someone who can maintain consistency, food quality, and efficient kitchen operations while working as part of a team. Our venue regularly caters for private functions and community events including weddings, christenings, birthdays, and large group celebrations. The successful applicant will be required to assist with buffet preparation, function service, and traditional grazing table preparation for events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and cooking of traditional Macedonian dishes
• Assisting with grill, oven, and hot food section operations
• Food preparation for restaurant service, buffet service, and private functions/events
• Assisting with preparation and presentation of traditional grazing tables for functions and celebrations
• Maintaining consistency and presentation of menu items
• Following food safety and hygiene procedures
• Assisting with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
• Working collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff during busy service periods and functions

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience working as a Cook in a busy kitchen environment
• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery required
• Experience preparing traditional Macedonian-style dishes preferred
• Experience assisting with functions, buffet service, and event food preparation highly regarded
• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods and large functions
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
• Ability to work consistently within an established kitchen team and follow existing recipes and preparation methods

Position Details:

• Full-time position
• Annual salary of $77,000 plus superannuation
