Full-Time Nurse Practitioner - Garberville, CA Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing firm, is proud to partner with a well-respected healthcare provider in Garberville, CA to find a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) . This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care in a supportive environment while enjoying the beauty and culture of Northern California's redwood country. Position Overview The Nurse Practitioner will serve as a clinic medical provider, performing both administrative and clinical responsibilities. This position requires strong knowledge of clinic systems, hospital regulations, interdepartmental functions, and insurance standards to ensure smooth delivery of patient services in a primary care setting. Job Responsibilities Provide compassionate, comprehensive care across diverse patient populations Conduct exams, order diagnostic testing, and prescribe treatment or medications Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and responsiveness toward patients and colleagues Collaborate with healthcare teams to support positive outcomes and seamless patient care Maintain patient confidentiality and compliance with clinic policies Participate in team meetings, committees, and special projects Assist department managers in developing and implementing clinic policies and procedures Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities Education and Certification Requirements Valid California RN license and certification by the California Board of Registered Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner AANP or ANCC Board Certification required or eligibility for certification Furnishing number (for Nurse Practitioners only) DEA license (unrestricted) NPI number required BLS certification required ACLS and PALS certifications preferred Previous experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in underserved or medically needy communities preferred About Garberville, CA Located in Humboldt County, Garberville is a scenic small town surrounded by breathtaking redwood forests and the beauty of Northern California's outdoors.
