Fundraising and Engagement Coordinator

Job Overview The Fundraising and Engagement Coordinator is responsible for developing and growing the organization's monthly giving program and increasing financial support from individual donors and community partners. This role focuses on donor outreach, relationship building, and fundraising efforts that result in growth in donations. The position also supports public speaking, digital fundraising, and limited grant activities. Performance is evaluated based on progress toward fundraising and donor engagement goals. Key Responsibilities Monthly Giving and Individual Donors (Core Focus) Develop and grow the organization's monthly giving program Recruit and retain monthly donors through outreach and communication Create donor appeals, updates, and impact communications Track participation, retention, and growth of monthly giving program Report on monthly giving activity and trends Individual and Community Partner Fundraising (Core Focus) Increase donations from individual donors, businesses, churches, and community partners Build and maintain relationships with donors and community partners Identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities Support annual appeals, giving days, and targeted fundraising efforts Participate in donor meetings and follow-up activities Public Speaking and Outreach Represent the organization at community events, churches, and partner meetings Deliver mission-based presentations to encourage financial support Serve as an ambassador for the organization's mission and programs Digital Fundraising and Social Media Support fundraising efforts through social media and digital communication Promote the monthly giving program, appeals, and events Share stories that demonstrate need and program impact Grant Support (Limited) Assist with grant research and proposal preparation as time allows Support basic grant reporting and documentation Qualifications Experience in fundraising, donor engagement, sales, or relationship-based roles Ability to increase donations through outreach and and relationship-building Comfort with public speaking and community engagement Strong written and verbal skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage priorities within a part-time schedule Familiarity with social media platforms for organizational use Experience with donor databases or willingness to learn Grant writing experience a plus

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
