You're invited to help the Georgia Appalachian Trail Club's (GATC) Rock Crew as they work on a set of rock steps on Friday, Oct. 30 from 9 am - 4 pm! You'll be working alongside experienced leaders who will provide training and guidance. Beginners welcome and all tools are provided by the club. We will be completing two rock steps at Tesnatee Gap South. The hike in to the work site is approximately 1/3 mile at a moderate grade. Wear long pants and sturdy shoes/boots. Bring work gloves and a hard hat if you have your own, otherwise the Club can loan you these items. Bring a lunch, snacks and plenty of water. Training is provided for first-timers.
