Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Garde Manger/Line Cook and bring your passion for food and creativity to the forefront! In this vibrant role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting cold dishes, salads, charcuterie, and garnishes with precision and flair. Your expertise will help craft memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. Duties Prepare cold appetizers, salads, charcuterie boards, and garnishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Assist in menu planning by contributing ideas for cold dishes and seasonal offerings Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation Support kitchen operations during service hours by organizing ingredients, plating dishes efficiently, and maintaining station cleanliness Collaborate with the culinary team to execute catering orders and special event setups with precision Handle food preparation tasks such as slicing, portioning, and assembling ingredients with knife skills and attention to detail Maintain inventory levels of cold storage items, rotate stock appropriately, and assist in ordering supplies as needed Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven background in food preparation within a restaurant or fine dining setting Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food presentation techniques Skilled in knife handling, food industry best practices, and catering support Familiarity with kitchen operations including food service workflows and meal assembly Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards Embark on a culinary journey that celebrates artistry in cold cuisine!
