This vital role ensures smooth and secure access for all visitors, vendors, and transportation providers. Your energetic approach will help maintain efficient operations while upholding safety and security standards. As a Gate Clerk, you'll play a key part in supporting warehouse distribution activities, including shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management. Duties Verify and log all inbound and outbound shipments using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) Control access to the facility by authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and carriers Conduct visual inspections of trucks and cargo to ensure compliance with safety protocols Assist with load & unload processes using equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts when necessary Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and visitor logs in AS400 or similar systems Support warehouse operations by coordinating order picking, packing, and stocking activities Ensure security protocols are followed during shift changes and report any suspicious activity or incidents Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving procedures and warehouse management systems (WMS) Familiarity with order fulfillment processes including picking & packing using RF scanners or order pickers Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts (certification preferred) Basic math skills for inventory counting and data entry accuracy Knowledge of e-commerce logistics and warehouse distribution practices is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently This role offers an engaging environment where your proactive attitude will contribute directly to the success of our warehouse operations.
