GENERAL MANAGER
- StretchLab Redmond StretchLab Redmond Studio is seeking an experienced General Manager with a passion for sales, oversee revenue generation and manage operations for our studio at Redmond, WA. StretchLab is the industry leader in offering one-on-one assisted stretching empowering clients to "Live Long". StretchLab has gathered a team of experts already certified in an array of related fields - physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, yoga, Pilates, and more - and brought in the world's leading authority on stretching and flexibility to deliver on the promise of having the finest team of stretching professionals gathered anywhere. The Studio's General Manager will be responsible for making this location come to life so that more customers can experience the benefits StretchLab offers. What You'll Do The Studio General Manager will be primarily responsible for generating studio sales and memberships along with developing a collaborative culture and delivering a premium wellness experience for clients. This role's performance and duties are comprised by 80% membership sales (and retention) and 20% staff management and studio operations. The following responsibilities highlight some of the key functions the Studio General Manager will perform. Additional supervisory tasks may be assigned as necessary.Sales:
Lead generation through Grass Roots Marketing and Networking with local businesses. Active outreach to potential members and business partners via phone calls/texts/emails and prospecting. Drive membership sales through outside sales and business development efforts. Schedule and participate in local networking/community events and studio promotions. Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the Studio.Management:
Deliver exceptional leadership, expert coaching, and daily guidance to empower the sales team. Participate in weekly management and monthly all-staff meetings to review progress against Studio's key performance indicators and define go-forward areas of focus/improvement. Organize trainings and team building activities to build the Studio's' sense of camaraderie. Foster a compliant and secure environment by ensuring adherence to StretchLab's established policies and procedures.Operations:
Coordinate with vendors to guarantee optimal studio retail/product inventory management, maintain accurate stock levels and maximize customer satisfaction. Deliver exemplary customer service, addressing any high-level concerns in a way that leaves a lasting positive impact on our members. Uphold the Studio's immaculate cleanliness and organization, cultivating an inviting atmosphere that promotes an exceptional experience for all customers. Any other duties as assigned.Additional job requirements:
The job requires the Studio General Manager to: Be seated or be standing for prolonged periods within the studio or at the premises of any outdoor or indoor marketing/pop-up activity. Make daily 30 - 50 phone calls for selling memberships to potential customers and receive incoming phone calls from potential customers or existing customers etc. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. What You've Got We are seeking someone who is a high energy sales leader, passionate about improving people's wellness and fitness, willing to learn, and excited to collaborate with us to build a long-term sustainable business. Proven sales leadership and team management experience. 3+ years of fitness sales or membership sales experience is preferred. Prior experience opening a wellness or fitness studio, or similar business, is desirable. Infectious energy with an ability to build genuine rapport and trust with prospects, studio members, and team members. Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, management, and the general public. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in person, on the phone and via written communication. Proactive approach to problem-solving, including the ability to recognize areas for improvement and make necessary changes, using good judgment, business acumen, and management skill. Comfortable being responsible for driving all revenue streams from membership to retail sales. Most importantly, passion about health and wellness! Application Question(s): This position is first and foremost a sales role, responsible for sourcing, driving, and closing memberships. Are you comfortable being assessed and compensated in large part on the number of sales you are generating? What is your prior experience sourcing leads and managing a sales funnel? Are you able to work 40 hours per week, including nights and/or weekends, as needed? What is your prior experience managing a sales team? Can you commit to working 35 hours per week in the studio (with 80% focused on sales and 20% on staff management and studio operations)? Your responsibilities include executing lead management through extensive daily phone calls, emails and texts to prospects, and sourcing, organizing and leading pop-up events outside our studio space (to be built) and at partner organizations.
