Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our convenience store and gas station operations. This pivotal role requires a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional management skills, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. As the driving force behind daily store activities, you will oversee all aspects of store management, including sales, inventory control, staff supervision, and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will ensure smooth operations, foster a positive team culture, and promote growth opportunities for both staff and the business. Responsibilities Lead and manage all store operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, safety, and cleanliness. Recruit, train, and develop team members to achieve their full potential through effective onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations. Oversee inventory management including stock ordering, merchandising, pricing strategies, and shrink reduction initiatives. Manage cash handling procedures, payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and maintain accurate financial records. Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Supervise shift schedules, monitor sales performance metrics, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Foster a welcoming environment by maintaining excellent communication skills with customers and staff alike; handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with a strong background in convenience store or grocery operations. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, cash handling procedures, and retail math. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administrative tasks. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Experience in recruiting, training & development programs, budgeting, merchandising, and marketing strategies.
