Job Title:

General Production Worker Job Description This role involves working on a production line to assemble window components with accuracy and consistency. You will use basic measuring and cutting tools, operate production machinery as needed, and ensure all parts meet quality standards before moving to the next stage of the process. Responsibilities Work on a production line assembling parts of windows according to established procedures and specifications. Measure materials accurately using a tape measure to ensure precise cuts and proper fit of components. Cut materials to size and assemble window parts using appropriate tools and equipment. Operate production and assembly machinery safely and efficiently, following all operating guidelines. Perform general labor tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing materials to support continuous production flow. Inspect assembled components for quality, completeness, and accuracy before they proceed to the next stage. Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area in the production environment. Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or defects to supervisors to help maintain production quality and efficiency. Essential Skills Experience working in a production or assembly environment. Ability to perform general labor tasks in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency in using a tape measure to take accurate measurements. Basic understanding of construction or manufacturing processes. Ability to operate production and assembly machinery safely. Attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and proper assembly. Capability to follow written and verbal instructions consistently. Reliability and strong attendance to support continuous production operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Comfort working with hand tools and basic production equipment. Willingness to learn new machine operation and assembly techniques. Ability to work both independently and as part of a production team. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hollidaysburg, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $13.50 - $13.50/hr.
