5am to 3:30pm (Monday through Thursday), 3:45pm to 2:15am (Monday through Thursday), must be able to work overtime.

BRP will deliver defect free products and services on time, every time. Each employee is an operator who will know and understand the training they receive before operating any machinery. Employee will understand and comply with all testing, gaging and inspection procedures for all quality control programs necessary for their job. Employee will understand and comply with all necessary shop safety procedures. Operator must run machinery at a speed which meets or exceeds Big Rapids Products part per hour quotas while maintaining an acceptable scrap percentage. Employee will accurately maintain their daily production slips. Employee will keep their work areas clean and organized at all times. Employee will review, understand and comply with all policies of Big Rapids Products.

Employee must have the ability to work well with his-her co-workers and function as an effective team member. Employees must work under the direction of their supervisor and quality control personnel. Employees must be able to read and comprehend written instructions pertaining to their job. Employees must be able to stand and or operate machinery, inspect product and package product for an entire shift. Employees must understand and abide by all policies and procedures of Big Rapids Products.

Duties Assist with assembly line operations by assembling components using hand tools and power tools to meet production targets. Operate forklifts safely to move materials and finished goods within the manufacturing facility and warehouse areas. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and machinery, performing basic mechanical troubleshooting as needed. Support warehouse activities such as loading, unloading, and organizing raw materials and finished products. Follow safety protocols diligently, ensuring a clean and hazard-free work environment at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and maintain high-quality standards. Use hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks, ensuring precision and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process. Requirements Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely within a warehouse or factory setting. Mechanical knowledge or experience with basic machinery maintenance is a plus. Familiarity with assembly lines, hand tools, and power tools used in manufacturing environments. Warehouse experience including material handling, inventory management, or logistics is advantageous. Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects safely, and work in a fast-paced environment.
