General Production Worker Night Shift

Production Worker - Night Shift Job Description Join a dynamic team as a Production Worker on the night shift, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless production of quality products. This position offers an opportunity for growth and development in a supportive and clean work environment. Responsibilities Load parts into boxes on a skid and fill up the skid. Use a pallet jack to move skids efficiently. Collaborate with a natural team, including a Technical Operator and Technician. Adhere to safety rules and wear necessary PPE like safety glasses and hearing protection. Lift up to 30 pounds intermittently over a 12-hour shift. Walk and stand for the majority of the shift. Pull production racks and gather samples for inspection. Inspect plastic seals and transfer full bags to shipping cartons, labeling them correctly. Transfer full pallets to the shipping area and stretch wrap them after inspection. Restock supplies such as mesh bags, boxes, and pallets for the next shift. Maintain cleanliness by picking up parts from the floor and dusting equipment. Organize and clean the plant area at the end of each shift. Empty garbage cans and ensure the work area meets cleanliness standards. Essential Skills Previous manufacturing experience. Ability to lift 30 pounds. Capability to stand on feet for a 12-hour shift. High school diploma or GED. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with a pallet jack. Background in packaging or visual inspection. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garrettsville, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
