$20.00/HOUR Role Purpose This position supports Weed Control Research Biology on the SPS (Secondary Profiling Screen) platform by spraying and maintaining plants in the glasshouse environment to deliver timely, high-quality biological data to herbicide research projects. The position operates within the Trialing Operations platform in Technical Support - Weed Control and is responsible for maintaining herbicide bioassays in the glasshouse using both established and novel weed screening methods to support project decisions. Key Responsibilities Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team while conducting experimental work using established and innovative screening methods Spray and maintain plants under glasshouse conditions throughout the duration of testing Ensure work ispleted with precision, accuracy, and efficiency Perform all duties in accordance with Syngenta Health, Safety, and Environmental policies Operate effectively in a high-throughput team environment Identify issues or non-conformities and report findings appropriately Maintain accurate records and ensure databases remain current Assist with training related to daily operational tasks when required Demonstrate a strong work ethic and consistency in performance Proactively identify problems and contribute to solutions Show initiative in improving workflows and operational processes within the screening platform Critical Success Factors & Key Challenges Quickly be proficient in the tasks and processes associated with the Secondary Profile Screen platform Deliver high-quality work with accuracy, consistency, andpleteness in an efficient manner Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and team members Qualifications & Requirements Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment Strong attention to detail andanizational skills Ability to follow established procedures and protocols accurately Goodmunication and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a glasshouse and laboratory-based environment Must be 18 years of age or older to participate in spray sessions if required Experienced Level Operates equipment required to carry out trial work within established frameworks Ensures samples are prepared and delivered on time Resolves routine issues with minimal supervision or guidance Requires prior relevant experience in a research, laboratory, agricultural, or related environment Entry Level Follows defined procedures to operate equipment andplete trial work Ensures samples are available and delivered according to schedule Resolves routine issues with supervisory guidance and approval Requires little or no prior relevant experience Working Environment High-throughput research and screening environment Glasshouse and plant maintenance setting Collaborative technical and scientific team structure Why work for Adecco?- Weekly Pay
