On-site (Reliable transportation required) About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Golf Course Mechanic / Equipment Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of golf course and turf equipment , ensuring everything operates safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone with strong mechanical experience who enjoys working on engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems in an outdoor/industrial setting. Key Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on equipment such as mowers, aerators, rollers, and utility vehicles Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical components Perform reel grinding on greens, tees, and fairway mowers Troubleshoot wiring and electrical issues using schematics and manuals Use hand tools, power tools, welding, and soldering equipment to complete repairs Maintain accurate service and maintenance records Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for parts and specialized repairs Ensure all work meets safety standards and operational guidelines What We're Looking For Experience as a golf course, automotive, or heavy equipment mechanic (preferred) Strong mechanical knowledge, including: Diesel engines Electrical troubleshooting Hydraulics Welding and fabrication Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals Experience with turf equipment brands like Toro, John Deere, Cushman, Kubota is a plus Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a physically demanding and outdoor environment Frequent bending, lifting, and tool use Requirements Must have reliable transportation Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
