Position Overview We're looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Manager to join our resort sales team, specializing in golf groups and wellness retreats utilizing our award winning spa. This role is all about teamwork, relationship-building, and creating unforgettable group experiences that highlight the best of our resort.

This role is a key associate, responsible for ensuring the organization's prosperity from the perspective of financial acumen and business development. With exposure to all aspects of the business, the role will grow concurrently with the growth of the company, and could evolve into property opportunities.Duties & Responsibilities:
Negotiate lodging, spa and recreational activities on property maximizing revenue. Manage golf and wellness group inquiries, negotiate rates, and craft customized packages that meet group needs. Partner closely with Golf, Spa/Wellness, F&B, and Reservations to deliver smooth operations and elevated guest experiences. Draft contracts, manage deposits, organize group files, and oversee communication from first inquiry through rebooking. Personally welcome group guests, serve as their point of contact, and ensure their expectations are exceeded. May hire, supervise, and mentor Develop their ability to attain appropriate sales growth Evaluate their performance progress Promote dining, spa, and resort activities to enhance packages and increase per-guest spend. Support the planning and execution of tournaments, retreats, and specialty weekends focused on golf and wellness. Gather guest feedback post-stay to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Prepare weekly sales updates, maintain accurate records in property/sales management systems, and assist with forecasting.Job Requirements:
A natural people-person with strong communication skills (written, verbal, and social). Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to juggle multiple groups and deadlines. Tech-savvy with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and property/sales management systems. Comfortable working both in and out of the office, with occasional travel to The Preserve Golf Course. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.Education & Experience:
Knowledge of the Brainerd Lakes area and Grand View Lodge Resort is a plus. Familiarity with golf, resort activities, and wellness experiences.
