Grain Handler and Laborer

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Grain Handler and General Laborer, where you'll play a vital role in the efficient handling, processing, and transportation of grain and agricultural products. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with heavy equipment and learn to operate processing equipment, while supporting agricultural producers across Eastern Colorado. Your hands-on contributions will help ensure smooth operations at our grain storage facilities and processing plant, fostering a safe and productive environment for all team members. Duties Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, and other machinery to load and unload transported grain Assist in the handling, sorting, and storage of grain products within storage facilities or grain bins Support activities like maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical reliability and safety Participate in loading and unloading trucks and ensuring accurate documentation of shipments Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and maintain a secure work environment Experience Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with heavy equipment operation preferred Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions lift heavy loads safely This role offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to vital agricultural operations while developing skills in equipment operation and processing equipment. Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
