GSRP LEAD TEACHER

Emerging Imaginations Academies is seeking a qualified and caring GSRP Lead Teacher to lead a Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) classroom. The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children. The GSRP Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the GSRP grant. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement C4L curriculum aligned with GSRP standards Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment Use child assessment data to guide instruction and support individual learning needs Maintain required GSRP documentation, lesson plans, attendance, and child portfolios Ensure classroom compliance with all GSRP policies and procedures Build positive relationships with families, including conferences and required home visits Participate in required trainings, staff meetings, and professional development We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have: Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education or related Valid Michigan teaching certificate with early childhood endorsement or eligibility under GSRP requirements Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements. The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children. Meets all Michigan GSRP Lead Teacher qualifications Preferred Qualifications Previous GSRP or preschool teaching experience Strong classroom leadership and communication skills Work Environment Active classroom setting with preschool-aged children Requires standing, bending, lifting, squatting and hands-on engagement Follows the GSRP school-year calendar
