Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting student success as a school psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This position offers flexibility, as both onsite and virtual candidates are welcome. Enjoy working 37.5 hours a week assessing and supporting learners from preschool through 12th grade. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychological services and conduct special education evaluations for a diverse student population. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff to help shape individualized plans, ensure compliance with special education regulations, and foster positive academic and developmental outcomes.
Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in School Psychology (or equivalent) Current approval as a School Psychologist by the Michigan Department of Education Experience with special education evaluations across various grade levels Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt duties based on building assignment needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct timely special education evaluations and assessments for students in preschool through high school Provide recommendations and develop interventions aligned with student needs Work with educational teams to facilitate meetings, review evaluation outcomes, and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to compliance deadlines Engage in ongoing professional communication with families and district personnel
