Job Description:

Volt takes great care of our great hires Volt is immediately hiring for Hardware Installer/Sheet Metal Fabricator in San Marcos, Ca. As a Hardware Installer/Sheet Metal Fabricator you will:

• Perform all work in compliance with company safety and quality standards (IIPP and Quality Management System)
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine hardware type, quantity, and placement
• Select and set up proper tooling for hardware installation machines
• Install and inspect first-piece parts to ensure proper setup
• Inspect completed parts to verify all required hardware is installed correctly
• Complete production traveler and related paperwork
• Maintain equipment, including routine calibration and upkeep This is a full time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a sheet metal fabrication environment Required Skills & Abilities
• Ability to lift, carry, move up to 50 lbs regularly
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English to follow work instructions, safety requirements, and part drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings
• Good vision (near, far, and peripheral; corrective lenses acceptable)
• Ability to hear and distinguish verbal and non-verbal communication
• Maintain a clean and organized work area Additional Requirements
• Must follow all safety rules and wear required PPE
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
• Must pass a drug test and background check

Pay Rate:

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
