Hardware Store Cashier

Job Description:

Price & Gannon Ace Hardware is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing excellent service while efficiently handling transactions.

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and provide helpful assistance Process sales transactions accurately using the register system Handle cash, credit, and returns in accordance with store policies Answer customer questions and direct them to appropriate departments Maintain a clean and organized checkout area Assist with stocking, merchandising, and general store upkeep as needed

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic cash-handling abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment Dependable and team-oriented attitude
