The High School Basketball Coach is responsible for leading, training, and mentoring the boys' basketball team. This includes developing practice plans, teaching fundamental and advanced basketball skills, preparing the team for games and competitions, and fostering a positive and supportive team environment. The coach will work closely with school staff, communicate with parents, and promote the basketball program within the community.Terms of Employment:
Salary and work year will be determined in accordance with the Negotiated Agreement.Evaluation:

Located in western Franklin County, 35 miles southeast of Topeka, 30 miles southwest of Lawrence, and 10 miles west of Ottawa, the district is easily accessible from Osage City, Lyndon, Baldwin City, Ottawa, Lawrence, and Topeka. The district recently passed a $13 million bond issue, funding several improvements, including a new storm shelter that also serves as the weight room and music room, a 1300-seat gymnasium, new agricultural and woodworking program areas, new high school offices, and an 8-lane track with field event areas.
