Interested candidates may email their cover letter and resume to cbasolutions@proceedinc.com The Health Workforce Training & Program Coordinator supports the planning,coordination, and delivery of national training and technical assistance programs that strengthen the public health and HIV prevention workforce across the United States. This role works closely with community-based organizations, health departments, and national partners to coordinate training initiatives, deliver workforce development programs, and support culturally responsive public health messaging grounded in health equity. The position is ideal for professionals with experience in public health, health education, social services, or community-based programs who are passionate about improving health outcomes for LGBTQ+ communities and populations disproportionately impacted by HIV.Note:
This is a public health workforce development position and not an IT or technology role. Key Responsibilities Training & Technical Assistance (TA) Coordinate and support national training and technical assistance initiatives for community-based organizations and public health partners. Facilitate virtual and in-person trainings for public health professionals, community organizations, and program partners. Support the development of training materials, presentations, and workforce development resources. Program Coordination Coordinate program activities across national partners, consultants, and community organizations. Track project timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements. Maintain documentation of training activities, technical assistance, and program outcomes in accordance with agency and funder guidelines. Advisory Group Coordination Coordinate activities of the National Committee Advisory Group (NCAG), including recruitment and engagement of members. Organize monthly meetings, document discussions, and support continuous program improvement efforts. Communications & Resource Development Support the development of culturally and linguistically appropriate public health messaging and training materials. Assist with editing, proofreading, and development of digital and print educational resources. Prepare presentations and materials for trainings, meetings, and conferences. Partnerships & Outreach Support collaboration with public health agencies, community organizations, and national stakeholders. Represent NCTSTA at regional and national meetings, trainings, and conferences when appropriate. Who Should Apply This position is ideal for professionals with experience in: Public health programs HIV prevention or sexual health initiatives Health education or workforce training Community health or nonprofit program coordination Social services or community-based organizations Candidates with professional or lived experience working with LGBTQIA+ communities or populations impacted by HIV are strongly encouraged to apply. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Education, Social Work, Education, Health Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in public health programs, training coordination, workforce development, or community-based initiatives. Experience facilitating or supporting training for adult learners. Strong organizational, project coordination, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and common digital collaboration tools. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Public Health or related field. Experience working in HIV prevention, sexual health, or health equity programs. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish. Experience working with multi-partner or national initiatives. Additional Requirements Ability to travel domestically approximately 25-30% of the time. Valid U.S. driver's license.
