The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality acupuncture treatments to patients, focusing on pain management and overall wellness. This role requires a deep understanding of anatomy, patient assessment, and various therapeutic techniques to ensure effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans. Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles in accordance with safety protocols. Utilize techniques such as trigger point therapy and pain management strategies to alleviate acute and chronic pain. Perform physical examinations and monitor patients' progress throughout their treatment. Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and provide guidance on complementary therapies. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments administered. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Skills Strong patient service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients. CPR Certification is preferred to ensure patient safety during treatments. Proficient in patient care practices, including assessment and management of pain. Knowledge of anatomy relevant to acupuncture practices. Experience in trigger point therapy and acute pain management techniques. Certification in acupuncture from an accredited institution is required. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members. Bilinguals are required, mandarin and English.
