We are building a patient-centered practice focused on thoughtful, individualized care and long-term patient relationships. Our goal is to create an environment where practitioners can focus on providing excellent care while the clinic supports scheduling, patient management, billing, and day-to-day operations. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled California Licensed Acupuncturist to join our team. The position can begin part-time and grow into a full-time role depending on the practitioner's availability, patient demand, and mutual fit. Responsibilities As an Acupuncturist at Yuanzhi, you will: Conduct comprehensive patient consultations and health assessments Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient conditions and treatment goals Provide acupuncture treatments safely and effectively Incorporate appropriate TCM modalities such as cupping, electro-acupuncture, moxibustion, gua sha, or other techniques within the practitioner's California scope of practice Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Clearly explain treatment recommendations and expectations to patients Build trusting, long-term relationships with patients Complete accurate and timely SOAP notes and clinical documentation Maintain appropriate standards for infection control, patient safety, and needle disposal Coordinate with front-desk and administrative staff regarding patient scheduling and follow-up Support insurance documentation when necessary Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming treatment environment Participate in clinic growth initiatives, patient education, and occasional community or wellness events Qualifications Required Active and unrestricted California Acupuncture Board license Graduate of an accredited acupuncture / Traditional Chinese Medicine program Strong knowledge of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills Professional, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Comfortable maintaining accurate electronic clinical documentation Ability to work independently while collaborating with the clinic team Commitment to patient-centered, ethical care Preferred 1+ years of clinical acupuncture experience Experience treating pain, musculoskeletal conditions, stress, sleep disorders, women's health, digestive conditions, or other common outpatient conditions Experience with cupping, electro-acupuncture, moxibustion, gua sha, or related modalities Experience working with commercial insurance patients Familiarity with SOAP notes, EHR systems, or insurance documentation NCCAOM certification CPR/BLS certification Mandarin Chinese or another additional language is a plus Newer practitioners with strong clinical skills, professionalism, and a willingness to grow are also encouraged to apply. Schedule We are open to both part-time and full-time candidates . For part-time practitioners, we are especially interested in candidates who can commit to consistent weekly shifts. Additional days and hours may become available as the practitioner's patient schedule grows. Full-time opportunities may be available for practitioners interested in building a long-term patient panel with the clinic. Some evening or weekend availability is a plus. Compensation $50-$65 per hour , depending on experience, clinical skills, schedule, and responsibilities. Additional performance-based compensation may be available based on factors such as patient volume and clinic growth. For candidates who develop into a full-time role, total compensation will be discussed based on schedule, experience, productivity, and expanded responsibilities.
