New Haven, CT About the Position Elm City Wellness is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Acupuncturist to join our integrative wellness team. This is an excellent opportunity for an acupuncturist looking to supplement an existing practice, expand their client base, or add flexible hours in an established and supportive wellness center. We offer both private and community acupuncture , providing our practitioners with the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and treatment needs. Our approach is centered on individualized care, clinical excellence, and creating a welcoming experience for every patient. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including health histories, current concerns, and treatment goals Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide safe and effective acupuncture treatments while following appropriate aseptic protocols Treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions and assess medical necessity as appropriate Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Educate patients on acupuncture, complementary therapies, and wellness practices Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation, including SOAP notes Communicate professionally with patients and members of the Elm City Wellness team Stay current with research, treatment approaches, and developments within the field of acupuncture Collaborate with other wellness practitioners when appropriate to support comprehensive patient care What We're Looking For Active Connecticut Acupuncture License Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills Comfortable providing both private and community acupuncture Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered approach Ability to work independently while being a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary wellness team Familiarity with HIPAA requirements and appropriate aseptic treatment procedures CPR certification is a plus Experience with a variety of acupuncture techniques and treatment approaches is preferred What We Provide Flexible scheduling to complement an existing practice or accommodate your availability Office staff who handle scheduling, billing, and payments , allowing you to focus on patient care An established wellness center with a diverse clientele and opportunities to build your practice A supportive environment that values clinical excellence and meaningful patient relationships Opportunities to collaborate with other wellness professionals Paid time off Employee discounts Competitive compensation with opportunities for growth Compensation $32-$50+ per hour , depending on the services provided and experience.
