Acupuncture Physician Job Description or practice description: We're hiring a licensed Acupuncture Physician (A.P.) to join Dr. Chang as a treating provider. You'll manage patient panel — ongoing treatment series for a caseload weighted toward chronic back, neck, sciatic, and joint pain; peripheral neuropathy; post-surgical pain; and referred/complex pain patterns. This is a clinical role in a busy, established practice with strong inbound patient demand, not a startup-from-zero associate position. An established, high-volume, reputation-driven practice — you are not building a patient base from a cold start.

Key Responsibilities:

. Deliver acupuncture and adjunct therapies (e.g., electro-acupuncture, or other modalities within your scope) for chronic pain, neuropathy, and complex conditions. . Reassess patients over the course of a treatment series and adjust the plan — including recommending a change in approach or ending care — when progress stalls. .Explain treatment rationale to patients in plain, anatomically grounded terms (referred pain, structural origin) consistent with the practice's clinical, non-"energetic" positioning. . Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and comply with Florida Board of Acupuncture recordkeeping and safety standards (sterile single-use needling, informed consent, contraindication screening). Deliver acupuncture and adjunct therapies (e.g., electro-acupuncture, or other modalities within your scope) for chronic pain, neuropathy, and complex conditions.
