The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pain management and patient service, with the ability to perform thorough physical examinations and assessments. This role requires a deep understanding of physiology, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques to provide effective treatment for patients suffering from acute pain and other conditions. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual treatment plans. Perform acupuncture treatments using appropriate techniques, including trigger point therapy. Manage acute pain through effective acupuncture methods and patient education. Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment progress in compliance with medical standards. Ensure a clean and safe treatment environment by adhering to aseptic techniques. Provide exceptional patient service, addressing concerns and answering questions regarding treatments. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes. Stay updated on the latest developments in acupuncture practices and pain management techniques. Requirements Valid certification as an Acupuncturist from an accredited institution. Proven experience in acute pain management and patient assessment. Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology. Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques is preferred. CPR Certification is required to ensure patient safety during treatments. Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding patient service. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
