Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Contracting Acupuncturist to deliver exceptional patient care through expert acupuncture and integrative therapies. In this role, you will provide comprehensive assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and utilize a variety of techniques to manage acute and chronic pain conditions. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing acupuncture, trigger point therapy, herbal medicine techniques, and other TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) modalities. Manage acute pain conditions through targeted therapies such as trigger point therapy and pain medicine approaches. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) documenting patient progress, treatment details, and clinical notes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals such as physicians, chiropractors, and physical therapists to coordinate patient care strategies. Educate patients on treatment options, self-care practices, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing health improvements. Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during all procedures to maintain a sterile environment and prevent infections. Skills Proven experience in pain management, including acute pain management techniques. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and the human body's response to various therapies. Skilled in patient communication, client service, and delivering compassionate care tailored to individual needs. Expertise in acupuncture, trigger point therapy, herbal medicine technique, and physical examinations. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and data management. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments using physical examinations and medical diagnosis skills. Knowledge of TCM principles combined with modern pain medicine practices for holistic treatment approaches. Commitment to maintaining high standards of aseptic technique during all clinical procedures.
