Job Description
Overview We are looking for an independent contractor who can practice on Wednesday or Staurday. You will have 2-3 rooms access. So, this is for you who does see patients with needling. Responsibilities Perform acupuncture treatments using sterile techniques, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout each session Assess patients' conditions through detailed physical examinations, medical history review, and understanding of physiology and anatomy Manage acute pain cases effectively by applying acupuncture and other pain management techniques Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals such as physicians, chiropractors, and physical therapists to develop comprehensive treatment plans Educate patients on herbal medicine techniques, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practices to support ongoing wellness Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR/EHR) management systems, documenting assessments, treatments, and progress notes clearly and thoroughly Conduct patient assessments utilizing medical terminology knowledge to ensure precise diagnosis and tailored treatment strategies Qualifications Valid licensure as a Licensed Acupuncturist with certification in acupuncture and TCM practices Proven experience in pain medicine, pain management, or related fields with a focus on acute pain management and trigger point therapy or any acupuncture TCM conditions. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice Skilled in patient assessment techniques including physical examinations and client communication Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems for direct patient care documentation Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a safe treatment environment Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Join us if you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care through expert acupuncture techniques.
