ANESTHESIA TECH

Job Summary:

Maintains anesthesia machines and related equipment, assists anesthesia staff with procedures, manages anesthesia supplies, and performs routine clinical tasks under direct supervision.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent (Required) Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent experience (Preferred) Medical terminology course (Preferred) Healthcare setting experience (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications:

Anesthesia Technician certification (Preferred) Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (Required)

Key Responsibilities:

Operates autoclaves and cleaning equipment according to established policies. Prepares supplies and equipment for pressure line insertion procedures. Assists physicians during line insertions. Troubleshoots and maintains patient monitoring equipment. Tests, stocks, and calibrates monitoring equipment daily. Maintains emergency airway carts, laryngoscopes, and related equipment. Works with staff, supervisors, and vendors to maintain product quality and control costs. Escalates questions and significant issues to senior staff when needed. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. #Workwolf
