Full Time Make it happen at Hopkins. Patient Care Tech I- PCT•Preoperative and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (Prep/PACU) Full time•Day Shift•40 hours The shift and schedule for this role is Monday to Friday, 5:30am to 2:00pm Patient Care Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital provide highly skilled and compassionate patient and family-centered care as a contributing member of the health care team.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required. One year of clinical experience e.g., home care, outpatient, acute care (hospital preferred) technician experience during the most recent two years in a setting relevant to the unit; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered. You MUST be highly proficient in starting and maintaining IV's lines to be considered for this role. BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.Important Notices:
