Anesthesia Tech

Shift:

Evening Shift, 8

•5 40hours/week

Experience:

Minimum 2 years as an Anesthesia Tech

Certification:

BLS required

Assist with anesthesia equipment, monitors, supplies & medications before and during procedures

Support anesthesiologists, CRNAs, residents & anesthesia technologists

Assist with difficult intubations and central line placement

Operate Cell Saver and support advanced surgical cases

Experience with cardiac, liver transplant, vascular, thoracic & trauma cases

Provide on-call coverage

Maintain, test, calibrate and troubleshoot advanced anesthesia equipment

Handle equipment including infusion pumps, nerve stimulators, defibrillators, transport monitors & anesthesia machines

Support fiberoptic bronchoscope/video monitor setup

Set up rooms and carts between cases and support out-of-OR anesthesia procedures

Assist with staff training and in-service programs

Provide backup support to the Shift Supervisor as needed

Preferred:

2-year college education with technical training + experience, or equivalent

Anesthesia Technologist certification from ASATT or another nationally recognized certifying body preferred
