An Art Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving art, crafts, and similar activities. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Are you interested in working independently but don't like or want to learn the 'business' aspect of running a private practice (i.e. billing, bookkeeping, insurance, marketing, etc.). If so, Tucson Lasting Connections is the place for you! Tucson Lasting Connections (TLC) is a systemically-oriented center that provides services to couples, families and individual adults. Our work environment closely resembles a group private practice and our therapists are highly motivated, initiative-taking and open to therapeutic growth. We strive to create a sense of family and positive morale amongst our therapists and are looking for systemic therapists to join our team. Contracted Clinical Therapist position requirements include: Master's degree in a related field Minimum of temporary or associate license in the state of Arizona Education, training and/or clinical experience working with couples Excellent organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in an autonomous work environment Knowledge of professional ethics (i.e. AAMFT Code of Ethics) and Arizona rules and statutes Evening and/or weekend availability Great fit for LAMFT or LMFT but other license types will be considered Benefits at TLC include: Competitive pay Beautifully furnished office space Flexible work schedule AAMFT Approved and AZ state approved individual & group supervision Client generation from TLC's well-established reputation and community network Insurance billing and credentialing services Bookkeeping for all services
