University of Alabama at Birmingham - 4.1 Birmingham, AL Job Details $43,890 - $52,500 a year 6 hours ago Qualifications Certified Athletic Trainer Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Description Responsible for the healthcare of athletic teams and serve as the athletic trainer for an assigned sport. Evaluates and treats athletic injuries and illnesses including rehabilitation. Supervises athletic training at an athletic practice and competition. Serves as a liaison with the Sports Medicine Care Team for a particular sport. Maintains all medical documentation relating to the assigned sport. Performs other duties as needed. Adheres to all institution, conference and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations. Reports all known NCAA violations in accordance with institutional, conference and NCAA policies and guidelines.
Salary Range:
$43,890 - $52,500 Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently certified as an Athletic Trainer by the Board of Certification (BOC). Must obtain licensure for Athletic Training by the State of Alabama upon hire.
