Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the High School Principal, provide instruction on the prevention, evaluation, management, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical injuries to student athletes engaged in various school sports and physical education activities; serve as a liaison between the students, parents, coaches, and physicians in evaluation, management, care, and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries.   • Bachelor's degree from a Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) accredited Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP) college or university Licenses/Certificates Requirement
  • Possession of a valid Class C or higher California Motor Vehicle Operator's License in order to drive the District-assigned vehicle
  • Possession of a valid Board of Certification Certified Athletic Trainer Certification
  • Possession of a current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Professional Rescuer Certificate, or similar, accepted by the Board of Certification (BOC) for the Athletic Trainer Requirements / Qualifications Education Requirement
