Job Summary Under the direction of the Principal/Athletic Director, the Athletic Trainer/CTE Sports Medicine Teacher provides sports medicine instruction while supporting the health and safety of student-athletes. The position provides injury prevention, evaluation, first aid, rehabilitation support, and concussion management while promoting safe athletic participation.

Requirements / Qualifications

BA or BS degree in Athletic Training, Anatomy, Kinesiology, Physiology, Nutrition or similar field from an accredited college/university or a combination of experience, training and/or education to demonstrate proficiency in the knowledge and abilities listed in Sports Medicine or similar field 2. A valid CA Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Teaching Credential in Health Science and Medical Technology 2. Resume 3. Letter of Introduction written expressly for this recruitment. 4. Two (2) Letters of Recommendation 5. Unofficial copy of your transcripts showing degrees awarded (official transcripts will be required at time of employment) 6. First Aid certificate is required 7. CPR certificate is required 8. Valid CA driver's license and acceptable driving record is required 9.
