Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, with some flexibility Bring Your Athletic Training Expertise to a Mission-Driven Team Mass General Brigham is seeking an Athletic Trainer to support student athletes with high-quality care, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and safe return-to-play guidance. Why This Role Stands Out In this role, you will provide hands-on athletic training services to student athletes under the direction of the program or department leader. You will help athletes recover from injury, reduce risk, build confidence, and safely return to sport participation. The position offers a blend of clinical care, mentorship, event coverage, emergency response, and collaboration with coaches, students, families, and healthcare professionals. What You'll Do- Provide athletic training care for student athletes in accordance with applicable state athletic training practices.
- Evaluate athletic injuries and develop appropriate plans of care.
- Design and implement injury rehabilitation programs that support recovery and performance.
- Assess athlete readiness and help determine safe return-to-play participation.
- Provide athletic training coverage for home and hosted contests as described by applicable program or association guidelines.
- Administer emergency care and first aid when needed.
- Create, maintain, and regularly update injury reports and related documentation.
- Ensure proper use and fit of athletic equipment, including helmets, shoulder pads, braces, mouthpieces, tape, and wraps.
- Maintain supplies, documentation, and the training environment to support effective and efficient clinic operations.
