Full-Time Certified Athletic Trainer Kokomo, Indiana - 40 minutes from Carmel! Love sports? Love helping athletes stay in the game? Looking for a flexible, rewarding opportunity that keeps you close to the action? Team Rehab is looking for a Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team and provide athletic training services for local athletes in the Kokomo area!
What You'll Be Doing:
Injury prevention and assessment - plan and implement comprehensive programs to prevent injury and illness among athletes. On-field and courtside coverage - recognize and evaluate injuries Serve as an Athletic Trainer in an outreach position in a large high school Provide onsite athletic training services at practices, assigned games and scrimmages Communication with coaches, parents, and healthcare providers Supporting athletes through recovery and return-to-play decisions Being the calm voice when everyone else is yelling from the stands This is a full-time position that follows the academic school-year schedule, providing consistent employment and benefits throughout the year. While the primary work schedule aligns with the school calendar, employees enjoy summers off while continuing to receive compensation. This unique structure offers the stability of a full-time role along with extended time away during the summer months, making it an attractive opportunity for candidates seeking a strong work-life balance. There are multiple PRN opportunities available through our affiliate clinic in Westfield during the summer working at Grand Park facility.
What We're Looking For:
BOC Certified Athletic Trainer Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Indiana Strong communication and clinical skills Passion for sports medicine and athlete care
