S16-18 Announcement Summary This is a continuous recruitment pool not specifically advertised. The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings. Duties The Athletic Trainer is responsible for assisting the Head Coaches in planning, managing, coordinating, and evaluating the Student-athletes fitness program at the College. Reporting to the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, this position is expected to adhere to the responsibilities of competitive success, the academic success of students, fiscal responsibility, and rules compliance within the parameters set forth by the NJCAA. Athletic Trainer is to advise student-athletes and staff of applicable intercollegiate athletic rules, regulations, and College policies and ensure compliance of such regulations. Athletic Trainer is to advise and sign off student-athletes for team participation. Plan and direct athletic skill/fitness development for student-athletes. Ensure appropriate safety measures are observed when conducting team activities. Work within budgetary guidelines established by the College. Coordinate all activities in preparation for scheduled competition. Attend team practices as needed and home contests. Responsible for additional tasks as assigned to further advance the college and student success. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and training experience at the secondary, post-secondary, or collegiate level, or combined equivalence. A valid driver's license.
