Immediately Job Description The Perkiomen Valley School District is seeking a part-time Athletic Trainer available starting immediately. The Athletic Trainer works under the direction of the Athletic Director and is responsible for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of athletic injuries and illnesses in student-athletes, as defined in the Team Physician Standing Orders Protocol. This role involves close collaboration with coaches, students, parents/guardians, and medical professionals to ensure the health and safety of student-athletes. The Athletic Trainer also plays a key role in educating the school community on injury prevention and rehabilitation. Terms of Employment Part-time; 210 Days at 20 to 27.5 hours per week Salary in accordance with terms of the Non-Union Support Group Education, Training, and Experience Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or a related field. Master's degree, preferred. Experience working with high school or collegiate athletes preferred. Certification and/or Licensure Requirements Athletic Training Licensure (ATC) from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Training Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and First Aid certifications
PIAA/NWCA
Minimum Wrestling Weight Assessor Certification (can be obtained after employment) Maintain Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in accordance with BOC requirements

Minimum Salary:
